At one time did GM have a flat head straight 6 & 8 in the oldsmobile and the pontiac?

I know there was a 36 old's in the back yard, and it was a flat head, but an earlier model(34) had 4 cylinders. Chevy and buick had overhead valves even in a 4 cylinder 28 chevy
