I need some advice. I work in a small department at the place that I work at. I might transfer to a college in a different state in January 2009. Should I tell my boss now that I might transfer to a different college in another state or wait until I know that I am going to a new college in a different state? I don't want to get in a situation in which my boss could hold me back from living my job in case someone from my department might leave or quit.
