Hi! I am a newbie here........

I think I have Gerd, have been prescripted anaciRAB previously....

I would like to know if anyone else gets lower back pain, finger and toe pain, sinus pain/headaches and feels dizzy with their Gerd?.............

Have finished a course of esomeprozole and now taking ranetadine as of today. Don't know wether to go back to Doctors for another course of Eesomerozole?

Feel so sick literally!

Any advice would be grateful

Yes, I get back pain with acid reflux. I experienced some acid reflux yesterday and woke up with lower back pain this morning.

I've found that I can prevent/stop acid reflux with alkaline fooRAB. See a list of alkaline and acid fooRAB here:

I think I got the back pain and acid reflux because I have been eating too many acid fooRAB and not enough alkaline fooRAB lately. I've eaten a couple of those big, bulb onions (boiled in water until soft) and have taken a few calcium-magnesium-zinc corabo pills this morning and the pain is subsiding. I've also had good luck preventing/stopping acid reflux with watermelon, sweet potatoes, and yams.

I also recommend eating ground flaxseed as it is a good source of Omega 3 and Omega 3 is an anti-inflammatory. Acid and Omega 6 are inflammatory (i.e., pain causing).

Thank you so much for replying ABG!

Such a relief to know that I am not alone in experiencing lower back pain..

Shortly after posting I thought I would look at the ranetadine leaflet - the suggested dose is twice a day of 150mg but my doctor has put on the label once a day of 150mg...

I have since taken another and feel so much better!

I am going to take it twice daily and see how I get on?....

Thanks again for putting my mind at rest....:)

It's best to use the lowest dose that works for you, but 150 mg of ranitidine twice a day is usually safe if you need it. Don't take more than that unless the doctor specifically tells you to.
