My AT light came on while driving one night. I looked it up and found its the Automatic Transaxle light and it means there is something wrong with the transmission. I've looked at several forums where people have mentioned the AT light coming on and I can't find a similar experience. My Car doesn't shift gears properly, but it does allow me to go over the speed of 50. I've read that most Mazda 3 with this light on wont shift out of 3rd gear nor go higher than the speed limit of 50. I just want to know if anyone has ideas as to why the light is on.
