ASV, excellent quality and service

Hi guys,

I just like to share the great experience of customer service from ASV. I have recently purchase the AVS long levers for mine 1098. Since I have the 30mm STM clutch slave installed, my clutch isn't function correctly. My old "hard to find neutral" cames back again because the push rod isn't long enough and not adjustable.

Many of us have issue of finding neutral with 30mm clutch slave installed and I am one of them. By adjusting the push rod further out will correct the problem (big thanks to Ten-6). The stock push rod is adjustable, but the rod from ASV isn't. I have almost give up by going back to stock levers or my old Pazzo short levers since it use the stock push rod. Just right before I gave up, I call ASV. Within min I was talking to a gentleman name Bob. He know about the product are all I can say. He knew I probably need a longer push rod to correct my problem and advise me to be cautious on the push rod length. He said ASV has different length of push rods for testing purpuse and he will send me one. After 2 days, the push rod is here. I did not expect it will arrive this fast.

I just like to share my experience with you'll what a great company should be.

Thank you Bob.

I know English isn't a problem for you, but learning or listening seems to be a barrier. I am sure there are many similar posts on 30mm clutch slave, but you still not getting it??

You need 1 mm longer push rod for ASV and about 1 mm to 1.5 mm for stock push rod. I don't know why, but I think the diameter on ASV push rod is little bigger than stock push rod. Now, the clutch pull and shifting is just like riding a 250cc motor. I did a 70 miles riding today, and finding neutral is piece of cake.
