Everyone's heard of Snorks and Smurfs-how come there wasn't an Astrosniks cartoon made?

In the future, Mavericker, I would recommend posting something like this in a thread with more general appeal, such as "What franchise should get its own cartoon series?" There's nothing wrong with posting about obscure things, but the discussion probably won't go anywhere.

I read about them-they were similiar to the Smurfs and the Snorks except they were set in space. Weird cartoons would sell-if they retained the weirdness of the other two it would have worked.

Eh, the time for an Astrosnicks animated series is long past. The time to have done that would have been in the 1980s, when Smurfs and all of it's clone shows were in demand.

Kudos for mentioning Astrosnicks in 2008, though. I honestly didn't think that anyone else even knew about those toys, let alone remembered them.
