Astronomy questions part 1 (help please!)?

I have some true/false questions as practice for a preparation for a test tomorrow, and I'm really stuck on them. Help would be AMAZING!

1) The final step in transporting energy to the surface of the sun is via convection
2) Observations of sunspots at different solar latitudes prove that the sun rotates differentially
3) most stars are single stars like our own (this is false, right??)
4) The majority of stars near us in space would fall on the lower right portion of the main sequence (in the Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram)
5) A +6.0 magnitude star is brighter than a +3.0 magnitude star
6) Less than 100 stars lie within 5 parsecs of the Sun
7) Light from distant stars that must pass through dust arrives bluer than when it left its star

I'm going to post the rest of the questions in another question so that someone can get 20 points :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH
