Astronomy question: Size balance & Temperature balance- pressure vs. gravity?

Using size balance (pressure vs. gravity) and temperature balance (energy created vs. energy lost) along with what creates each of these properties, explain why higher mass stars MUST be more luminous than lower mass stars. List out each physical connection. Starting point is higher mass and your ending point is higher luminosity.

Something like this:
Higher mass =>
Higher pressure at any given point inside the star (hydrostatic equilibrium) =>
Higher temperature and densities (equation of state) =>
Higher energies for the protons (definition of temperature) =>
Higher nuclear reaction rates (Maxwell distribution, tunneling) =>
Higher luminosity
