This is one of the questions of my homework for introduction to astronomy. This course is extremely difficult for me and there's no online tutors on right now. I'm having a hard time trying to visualize this and think of an answer, but I can't. It wouldn't have to do with glare, would it, because of the angle the sun hits the earth? I'm grabbing for ropes in thin air here! >.<
