Hi there- I've spent hours on this and am about to explode; this class as well as this teacher are too hard; please help I am so busy and stressed!

1)What are the maximum number of times that Mercury can pass Earth (be at inferior conjunction) in one Earth year?
In such a year when Mercury did accomplish this feat, what is the absolute latest date must the first pass take place?

2)There is something remarkably similar to Mars and Earth (besides fact that it sometimes harbors liquid water for periods of time). Find this similarity.
Hint: If Earth were to swap this trait, Miami would be within the tropic zone and directly beneath the Sun for a part of the year.

3) Venus has no magnetic field (aka magnetosphere). What would be the ramifications if Earth were to lose its own magnetosphere?

4) The following statement can be found on this site: "At present, Mars is too cold and its atmosphere too thin to allow liquid water to exist on its surface for too long". The second part of this statement suggests that air density has an effect on whether or not liquid water can exist. Design a sample experiment (and write it below) that could test this idea. Since it needs to be a simple experiment, use only simple materials.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
