Alright so here is the issue, I have one year left to graduate with my computer engineering degree but I have become very interested in astronomy. So interested, I have gotten to the point where I am no longer interested in my field of study. Should I stay in my field of study or would it hurt to get a degree in astronomy? Is there anything I could go into with computer engineering where I might be involved in astronomy? I have been in amateur astronomy for years but never thought I would actually go into it. I went into engineering for the money and its something I know a lot about.

the only problem is, im 24 at this point... and my gf is ready to get married soon. I got a degree in business b4 and couldn't get a job with it so I am working on my engineering.
