asthma attack

Hi
I am having problems with my asthma again. I just got off prednisone last Wednesday and I am back on it today. I take spriva, advair 500, alvesco, ventalin as needed and flonase. My husband travels alot. Thank goodness my kiRAB are older now. I have a daughter 16 and a son 9 but it is still hard because they think if I am home I am fine which is not true when I am having an asthma attack. I have had asthma for 13 years but I still find it hard when I cannot breathe well.

Can anyone relate?
 
A lot of doctors have quit using Advair and Spriva due to the side effects. Have you ever taken Singulair? It is highly prescribed as a maintenance drug. Hope you get to feeling better!
 
What are your triggers? Maybe you need to try avoiding them more or medicating with albuterol beforehand when you know you are going to be exposed.
