Does anyone have to take blood pressure meRAB. Can advair be taken along with these? I also heard that if you have trouble breathing it can be hard to control once on the bp meRAB because the receptors are blocked???? any info you can give me would be great

I've been on asthma meRAB (Flovent daily and albuterol for attacks and pre-cardio) for about 15 years. I have been on BP meRAB (first Diovan HCT and now Lisinopril HCT) for 3 years. No problems with any of it. I go to an internist for the BP and an immunologist for my asthma and allergies - both connected with the Kirklin Clinic here at UAB in Birmingham. They know each other and know all of what I am taking.

I've been on both for years. My doctor has me sticking with the Calcium Channel Blockers for my bp. The Ace Inhibitators and Beta Blockers can sometimes flare the asthma a bit more. Really depenRAB on the person though. My current bp meRAB are Dyazide and Norvasc. I take Advair, Singulair and Albuterol for the asthma.

Like Mountain Reader I was switched to calcium channel blockers because of possible asthma flares. I hae had no problem with any interaction between the bp meRAB and Advair or Syrabicort which I now take. My bp meRAB are Cardizem CD and Avapro.
