assigned rings not working on 8910

:( i finnaly was able to download sone rintones on my fone. i assigned everyone a ring . now when they call it is not playing the ring i assigned but the ring that it is set on for call in general. does anyone know how to fix this? i wouldhate to think i did this all for nothing. :help:
 
I think and hope I can help you I have this phone and had that problem infact I called my service provider (Virgin Mobile) and asked whats wrong and they said it was a software issue and I even had to return my phone anyway I got my 2nd 8910 and the same thing happened and I FINALLY figured out I had'nt put the area code in front of the number eg-153-555-5555 so try that I'm pretty sure if you did'nt put the area code in front of the number thats your problem.

Yeah, they gave me a refurbished Flasher which sucks because I had a perfectly fine phone and thinkinh something was wrong exchanged it for a refurb which on that one the screen was darker and the camera seemed worse and sometimes it froze. But whats worst of all is Virgin Mobile are the ones that told me there was something wrong with it, when there was'nt.
