ASP versus PHP, Which is better?

I would just to like to hear what people say about php versus asp and I don't mind about the price difference, nor do I care that php is open source.
 
php offers a lot of convenience and powerful features. File uploading programmatically (from your own webpage code) is way too easy and offers too much convenient methods in doing so.

Start with simple php webpages. you WAMPP or XAMPP apache web server, you can also try ApacheLite Server, get it from http://myonline.webng.com/inc/apachelite.zip. It is a standalone apache server. Choose whatever suits you.
