I bought an asp s15a 2 stroke glow engine a couple of days ago and have tried to run it for the first time.
I have the proper setup and the proper fuel mixture(15% nitro, 17% oil) and I know my carb is getting fuel, I've injected some directly in the carb and in the combustion chamber.
whenever I attach my ignitor and spin the prop, I don't get ignition. fuel passes though but at most I get a slow burn and an occasion turnover(once every 50 spins)
I am suspecting it's my ignitor since I did make it myself (3 AA batteries in series) but when I try my ignitor on my glowplug, I see it glowing brightly.
Any ideas for what my problem is? Do I not have the correct voltage/amperage in the ignitor? is there another problem I'm missing?
also, when I tried starting it it was about 35 celcius with 90% humidity
