Asking for a 90's Game Name from Sega Genesis Consoles.?

So, here's the story. I think it's Made in Japan, imported maybe. The main character is a girl with a sword as her weapon. And she got this ability to form somekind of a circle power force with her sword, and throw it out that it'll work like a boomerang or something. And it's a sidescroling type of game. I believe it's made in the early 90's. And the game is so simple without scores etc. The problem is, that i don't remember the name of the game. So if anybody got a clue or something, please..help me T-T.. i don't know why i really need to play this game. I'm having a megacuriousity..hahaha..
No! The integrity, concept and the awesome Theme song of the game makes me really curious.. :D
