Thanks. You help prove the point.

You cant put them with hetero men. You can't put them with women. You can't put them with other gays.

Where do you put them?

i respect what your saying but thats still not the issue whether or not gays should be allowed to run around saying their gay

its the fact that its discrimination to discharge them because they are found out to be gay whether they said anything or not.

Do you think that its fine to kick someone out if they are found out to be gay?

Passing this helps their agenda immensely. They make their living handing tax money to the top percent. They gather support by fear mongering and pandering to to idiots who actually think they care and will do something about utterly meaningless social issues. (Gun control, abortion, flag burning, gay marriage, "small" government, school prayer...)

Please. Obviously not an equal protection issue under the Constitution. Even with stretching the Constitution as far as you can, Individual sexual preference, or lack thereof, comes nowhere near meeting any Federal standard for a protected class.

Try again

I don't understand.

They're already in with hetero men. DADT doesn't keep them segregated, and repealing DADT won't allow gays to fuck each other or harass the heteros.

BTW....the Bill is being threatened by an Obama Veto....because of the Pork attached to it

This and all subsequent posts in this thread entirely miss the point. I think you're just a bigot.

Too the point, check out the Air Force Reg AFI36-208 governing a persons behavior.

If anything....lifting DADT will hurt them more than they realize

The whole thing....the Prez don't have line item veto power

I've gotta say....I have to give a to the greedy bastards
there was budget add-ons that Even the pentagond didn't even want but were passed by the house anyways

Link?

Last i heard he and top military brass were all for this.

I doubt he'll veto the entire bill, just parts. Plus the cry-baby repubs are threatening Filibuster because they didn't get their way anyhow.

I'm on my phone so it's hard for me to multitask browser windows....but I do know it was in the Minneapolis startribune this morning www.startribune.com

like I said....the Prez does NOT have line item power, he cannot just veto parts he don't like (like the Governor of my state can) he has to veto the whole thing. And what I read it was moderate Democrats that were bitchng about the bill because of what they thought was wasteful spending Spending that Gates didn't want
