A car travelling at 10m|s is 25m from a red light. the light remains at amber for 2 seconds bfore it changes. the driver has 2 choices to speed uip before the red light or slow down and stop. what is the least acceleration needed in the first case and the least deceleration in the 2nd case?

am i right in thinking that for the deceleration bit only V,S,A and U are neeeded if we asume V (final velocity ) would be 0, in which case the formula v²-u²/2s = a?
