...their face? (Read situation)? I'm seventeen, my Father has always been one to raise his hand to me- until he got in trouble a few years ago for throwing a can of something and hitting someone in my house with it. But, he says it was an accident and supposedly is changing his ways. He went to counceling for a while but never actually talked to his councelor about the issues, and now doesnt go and is slipping right back to his aggressive, nasty self.
My Mom, my sister, and I came home from the store. We were in the kitchen putting away groceries and all had asked my dad to turn the TV down. He kept not helping us do anything with the groceries, and turning the volume up. Finally I tried to talk to my mom to ask a question and he goes "SHHH". So I snapped and said "You've been in front of the TV for the past five hours, we constantly ask you to turn it down" And he got in my face telling me to "Shut the f*** up. Stop worrying about what I'm doing" and yelling at me. Seriously, is that appropriate? Cause I don't think I'm being disrespectful.
Btw to "joshie", learn to read. I said he's hit before and in this paritcular situation didn't hit due to the fact he got in trouble for it. But yes, he has hit me, like more than just a pop on the cheek. I agree with that. I'm talking being smacked onto your ass, isn't right.
