As a Mormon I made covenants with god. Am I obligated to keep them if I realize that they were based on a lie?

Specifically, do I have any kind of moral obligation to keep the LDS/Mormon Church's secrets if I realize that, contrary to what I had been told, god is not involved with any part of their religion?

@David, that's a pretty typical LDS response :).
@Melting Sky, does it matter that the promise I made is with an entity that doesn't actually exist? If you promised your nephew that you would take him to Disneyland then realized that you don't actually have a nephew, are you required to go by yourself?
