As a minor, how can I start a temporary dog walking business?

I'll be seeing my friend for about two weeks and she says a lot of people in her area are looking for a good dog walker. My rates are as follows...
Solo walk (30 - 45 min.) - $23
Solo run (30 - 45 min.) - $26
Walk (approx. 30 min)- $15
Run (approx. 30 min)- $20
If the dog is under 35 lbs, take off $5

I am a minor, and I'd like to know how to start a temporary business. I have several refrences, including the fact that I've worked at the SPCA as a volunteer, and personal refrences from when I've dogsat, catsat, etc...
Is it as simple as babysitting? Put up a few flyers and let people call you?
I don't care to get insurance, unless I am seriously hurt by one of the dogs, (IE, I have to get stitches, or worse,) and I'll be having the owner sign a short waiver.(It will include information about if the dog is hurt somehow) Otherwise, if a dog just snaps at me or gives me a little scratch, it's part of the job, it's how some dogs are.
So what other kind of legal stuff do I have to take care of?
This is in the Dorchester, Boston area.
Just reducing the price based on weight makes it seem cheaper. My dad's a salesperson, he's taught me some pretty nutty stuff. xDDD
