Im in the junior year of high school ( 11th grade ) and i want to get an early start on my college courses. I have approval of my school to proceed and take the classes. But the community college I want to attend AVC ( Antelope Valley College ) summer courses book states that minors who attend the college can only receive the fee waiver. I was wondering if there was a way i could receive other types of financial aid to assist me with supplies and books. I know i would be eligible to receive financial aid if i wasn't a minor because my sister was able to. I just want to know if i can receive it due to my age and the fact i haven't graduated high school yet.
