I'm 18 years old and I am studying my A-levels. I live with my parents, but it's too much for them to pay for all of my expenses. I lost my Saturday job due to the recession, and am finding it virtually impossible to find another - I've been on the hunt for 7 months and it's very difficult. Even though I am a full time student living with my parents, is there any sorts of benefits I can receive? I hear that in the UK some students get around £30 a week for going to school but the same doesn't apply here where I live, in Jersey Channel Islands.
As a full time student am I able to receive any financial support at all?
