You can research into why he chose those particular colors in the images. Were there practical, technical reasons, or did Warhol believe each of those colors meant something?

How about some info on why he chose that particular image of the actress. Where did that image come from? Who was the original photgrapher? Did Wahol get permission to use it or did he feel he had the legal right to "borrow" that particular shot?

Did he actually know the actress?
 
ermmm well for school i have to write a piece on andy warhol and why he repeated maralyn manroe's face in one if his famous peices of art work?
i have all ready said about that he was turning it into a symbol and no matter how much you change it you would still recognise it because her face is well known and i cant think of anything else can someone help ?!
