I'm trying to figure out my project for my assignment. My focus of work is that media has damaged young adolescents view on beauty and the body
So I'm basically revolving it around anorexia and the fashion industry, I'm also going to incorporate foot binding, neck stretching and like rib removal, these are all events that happened long ago that supports that even people back then were still wanting to have a perfect image and fit in with the current fashion trends etc
Anyways I was thinking to do like paintings on canvas' based on A acronym, like a word relating to my concept and each initial to do a painting on it, soo for example, FAT then I don't know, Female, Adolescent, Tendencies? Hahha but yeah basing it on a word, I was thinking Fashion victim or just Victim a word that is about 6 letters, I could do fashion. Umm the words will outline what the painting is about or called. I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Please leave ideas or if you would like yk help on the acronym that would be amazing!!
I am willing to do anything but a full sculpture of the female body
