I know someone who robbed a Christian camp, he stole a mac laptop, a guitar, a honda motorbike and broke into a car and took a camera, mp3 and glasses. He's 18 and been in court for stealing before when he was underage and got let off with a diversion because it was his first offence. We live in new zealand so it may be a bit different but would he get jail time? probation? comunity service etc? and will it be on his record forever and effect his current job? thanks.
