It is also especially difficult on the couple if they do not love one another. The individual in an arranged marriage cannot let it be known since, more often than not, the couple is already married.
It may seem to be that marriage is simple, however in reality it is not. When choosing a life long partner, outer aspects of a person such as, social standing, financial stability, religion, and appearance should come second to inner feelings and emotions. Marriage should be a ceremonial event not a business agreement. The individual should have the experience of dating too to see if the other person is a worthwhile or a long lasting partner. They should be able to make the final choice of which they are going to marry.
In conclusion, marriage out of love allows the individual to experience relationships and get to know others as well as themselves better. It is no wonder that marriage as a result of romance is much more popular. And even though finance and physical attraction are sometimes what draw a person to another, it is only their inner personality that will keep a relationship going for a lifetime, "to have and to hold, for richer and for poorer, for better or for worse, till death do you part."
