Army year deployment to Afghanistan?

1. What's it like with a year deployment? What are the days like?

2. If a married couple deploy together do they get to stay together in close quarters? Do they get to spend time together?

3. If a soldier becomes pregnant while deployed what do they do about it? Dishonorable discharge?

Isn't that an easy way out of deployment? To get pregnant? I know someone who plans on trying right before they leave or while they are there.
 
1) Depends on where you are. Some can be deployed to Doha where there is no possibility of getting attacked and you can be in Baghdad where you're attacked constantly.
2) Possibly. I know a married couple who got separated. In the military you go where your command tells you to go.
3) They may send them to Germany or even back to the U.S. It's not a dishonorable discharge since getting pregnant is not illegal.
4)Never thought of it that way. Possibly the easiest way out but that's only if you're married or planning to have children. What about the guys? Lol
 
The military unfortunatly sends their troops where it benifits them, not you. Sorry
