my husband wants to try out for army special forces he is 27 but he has some knee problems and he broke his arm a while back and has a huge scar there. could he be disqualified he also has had a misdemeanor because of a physical fight he got into and had to also get drug tested . i just want to know because he really wants to go. also where would we live if he makes it? i heard it would be north Carolina is the base nice there? what is north carol Carolina like?

The knee problems, could be a problem. However until such time as the medical people evaluate him I know from past experience there is nothing anyone can speculate on, that is but one of many hurdles he must overcome between now and then. The first one is enlisting, the next is completion of jump school. One step(obstacle) at a time.

the knee might be an issue, depends on if he could make it through selection with it or not.
fort bragg is ok, but he wouldnt necessarily end up stationed there.
