From what I’ve been told and what I’ve learned on my own, recruits who get offered the opportunity to attend sniper school are those that show great skill in all areas of basic training. What I wanted to know is: what specifics make a recruit more appealing for a shot at sniper school? How long does sniper school usually last? Any other relevant information would be greatly appreciated and if it is possible, I’d like to know what retired snipers went through.
