army remedial pt problem?

ok im having a problem with my plt sgt. i jst came off a 2 month profile for blowing out my knee. so im not exactally in peak condition right now. im also sick as hell on top of that lol. i passed my last pt test about 4 months ago with a 298 and im not blowing tape. so here is my ? can my plt sgt put me on remedial pt. i need facts and reg numbers ive been looking up regs for 3 days and cant find the right ones so can anyone help me?
 
Yes, they can, and they should. It has nothing to do with your ablities at this point. It's about not pushing your body too hard. You had a knee blowout. That's not like a papercut you just give a few minutes and it's gone. He is putting you on remedial pt to give your body additional time to heal and work yourself back to full strength. Please understand this is about not risking you further injury by pushing you too hard, not a punishment for not performing.

You said yourself you aren't in peak condition. And you are sick. Don't you understand your body needs to rest and rejuvenate? I know in the Army we talk about pushing yourself, but there is a time and place for it. Just after a major injury, with an additional illness is not that time.
