Army.. History of Epilepsy and waiver chances?

Curious if anyone has any experience.. I had epilepsy as a child. I only ever had seizures one time, though. I was 18 months old when I had them (several in one day), was put on medication, didn't have any while I was on the meds, and then at the age of 7 I received a normal EEG, was weaned off my meds, and haven't had one since. It's been 16 years. Do you think my chances would be good?

Someone told me I would have to get my records from all my doctors, ever, to receive the waiver. Just so they know I haven't had one or been on medication since. Someone else said just from the neurologist and the hospital I went to when I was a kid and I would have to have a current/recent consultation with a neurologist and a normal EEG. Anyone know what I would most likely need? or anyone have a similar experience and joined?

I haven't talked to a recruiter yet. Just wondering before I go in so I can dig up most of what I need before I go. I know the records from the hospital will probably take a while considering how long ago it was.
wraeth, I do not have epilepsy NOW. I don't know if that would make a difference. I know there wouldn't be a snowball's chance in hell if that were the case. The Regulation states that seizures after the 6th birthday are disqualifying unless you have been seizure free and off of medication for years. That seems to give me hope of a waiver since I have been off meds and seizure free for 16 years, but I do know that recruiting is at an all-time high. Know a couple guys who had febrile seizures as a kid and were on meds and didn't say anything to their recruiter, but I don't want to go down that route.
That should say "been seizure free and off of medication for FIVE years."
