Hi, I'm a member of the Army and i'm in AIT in Ft. Gordon, GA It was discovered that i have a bilateral impingement in both of my hips resulting in the destruction of almost all cartelidge in both hips, giving my arthritis. Ive had a hip arthoscopy on my left hip and i'll be having the same surgery done on my right hip at the end of june, My doctor says that I won't be allowed to run anymore in the military or anything of that nature and im stuck here in GA while my wife is home in TX, I really just want to be out as fast as I can but I was also wondering if any one knew anything about the med board process and if surgery had any impact on your disability rating?
