Army Good Conduct Medal Question?

I read somewhere that only for the first Army Good Conduct Medal, you may receive it if you serve for more than one year but are dont with your enlistment before the three year mark, then you may receive the Army Good Conduct Medal. So say i switch from the Reserves to Active Duty with 1.5 years left and I serve the 1.5 years active duty with no disciplinary action and i finish my enlistment, may i receive the Army Good Conduct Medal?
 
no the AGCM is only available to active duty soldiers or active AGR soldiers. besides if you switch from reserves to active you are going to have to sign another contract for no less than 3yrs.
