Army BAH Question Ft Stewart?

I am at Ft Stewart, my wife is in California. My question is if my wife comes with me we get BAH for Ft Stewart + BAS. But if my wife stays in California do we still get full BAH for Ft Stewart + BAS or I dont get anything since my wife is not here? If my wife decide not to come Ill be living off post(no barraks). tx
Ill be deploying in June, so its not worth my wife to come stay here 5 months and be alone for a year.
 
BAH is based on your duty station regardless of where she chooses to live.

if she is NOT there you CANNOT live in barracks and you CANNOT live in base houisng.. so that means living in town and supporting 2 households. If they allow you to live in Barracks cuz there is room you forfeit BAH completely.

NO Family Sep is authorized unless you actually deploy from Stewart.
