Ok, I just took the short asvab with a recruiter but he didn't know how to interpret my score. I am applying for OCS, so from what I understand, all i need to be concerned with is my GT score (AR, WK, PC).
I only got just a little over HALF of the AR correct! I know, it's sad, but I hadn't done that math since 9th grade (15 yrs ago). It's especially embarrassing considering my 3.61 undergrad GPA to think that high schoolers are smarter than me.
I got ALL of the WK and PC questions right.
So, do you think that would equate for over a 110 GT?
I'm sure I can teach myself the AR in about two weeks to get just about all of them right. I forgot how to do some math by hand (being the invention of the calculator and all)

Also, he told me that it is like the SAT, as in you get penalized for guessing. But, after further conversation with him, he didn't seem to know anything about the SAT.
Are you penalized for guessing because I only attempted the ones I knew I would get right.
