Army ACU uniform questions?

Hi there I got a question to ask someone who's in military.. Here the question. My son whos not currently in army but he have always want to join army all his life but he couldnt because of his disability and hes deaf also.. But He wanted to know if its ok for him to wear a ACU uniforms to show his pride and support.. He doesnt wear any ranks, ingisia, and medals. Only name, us army tapes and america flag.. Thank you

He'll have to get rid of the Army tapes, apparently. (But he can replace them with ones that say his State, that's legal.)
 
I'd rather him not wear a uniform that i feel i earned. But theres no laws against him wearing it(without the name tapes)
