Arguing with my husband over name for our 1st born son?

My husband wants to name the baby after himself which would make him the 4th. I want the baby to have his own name. Every boy in my husband's family is named William and I would like something different. I did not realize this would be such a huge issue and is really causing problems because he won't compromise. Has anyone had this problem?
 
I bet he wants his name to be honored. That's not a bad thing, for your son to be named after him. But if you don't want to, compromise. Do something close to it. Like Will.
