Argos question about ''handset must be purchased with £10 airtime''?

Firstly Argos (uk) is doing this new standard thing and says phone is £30 and ''handset must be purchased with £10 airtime'' so it will cost me £40 in total? Secondly can I still top up £5 after too? thanks.

Yes it will cost you £40 in total, but including £10 credit.
You should be able to top up £5 afterwards - it depends on the network.
Orange, T Mobile and Vodafone let you top up £5, but with o2 there is a £10 minimum.
