Argg need help finding a movie from thid quote.

I think its a movie anyway lol. Its annoying me trying to think were ive heard it.

It goes something like this.


"in ancient rome they gave power to send one man to go outside and defend the city from invaders"

then someone else says

"yeh, but that one man they sent out happened to be julius caeser and he never gave up his power".

Im just thinking right this second it may have been Valkeriye but im not sure.
 
It's from The Dark Knight, Rachel Dawes says it to Harvey Dent:

RACHEL: And the last man they asked to protect the republic was named Caesar. He never gave up that power.
