I did 2 reps of 15 on each leg. But after 10 lounges I already felt my muscles aching. I'm a big girl. 5'10, 240 pounds. and i sort of extended my legs far so i can work on my butt and not only my thighs. Am i suppose to feel that? The feeling sort of went away after i stretched.but i still feel i have worked out.. the aching feels good though because I'm proud of myself. =) feels like success. I never work out..
no one ever helps... it might be because i'm big.. this is a conspiracy..

Lunges are awesome for the quad and butt! Keep exercising! Just make sure you do lunges correctly never let you knee go past your toes and don't let you knee touch the floor. Good luck and keep trucking girl. Make sure you are doing a well rounded exercise program and eating enough. Lift heavy. The heavier you can go with maintaining proper form the better. I was 230 pounds mid april and 38% body fat. I have been exercising and eating clean and now I am 170 and 29% body fat. Consistency is key.

Remember your body is

80% nutrition
10% genetics
10% training

Good luck
