Are you considered to have been in the military even if you did not finish boot camp

Honorably discharge? I was discharged due to a contractual agreement where it stated that I needed to finish boot camp before the start of the fall semester and that did not happen.
 
lol, no you were just ona tour of basic training, you completed nothing and earned no right to claim being a soldier because you were not at any time in the position of a soldier.
 
Sorry, but no. You're not considered "military" unless you complete at a minimum the original contract you signed (could be anywhere from 2 to 6 years). You received an entry level separation, and as such you're not eligible for any military or veteran benefits.
