Art means a lot to me; it's a way of expressing emotions through a creative medium. No matter what I happen to be drawing, my moods will always show in the way that I draw.
I sketch anything and everything. From real life to surreal, portraits, landscapes, animals, people; you name it, I draw it.
I draw whenever I can. Even if its a tiny sketch in the two minutes I have time between jobs I sketch.
I do think art improves imagination; you can be the most narrow minded person, but drawing/ art can open you up to so many different thoughts, cultures, dreams, lifestyles; its hard not to go away and not get the itch to create you own master piece after admiring someone else's.
My favorite artist would have to be either Picasso or Salvador Dali. (I'm a typical surrealist artist if you can't tell already) The way they create such depth and emotion in their pieces in ways that necessarily do not make sense make this form of art my favorite.
