I have claimed tax credits using my friends address, as I don't like my dad opening my post from inland revenue. Is this acceptable? It doesn't affect my eligibility through their eyes I don't think, but nevertheless, will I be in trouble? Are you allowed to use a correspondence address without letting them know that it is one?
