...buyer? Not a hazardous problem? I just decided I need to sell my car. It will only get worse. It has a problem with some sensor...the headlights/dashboard flicker occasionally. It's not hazardous by any means. I could definitely get away with selling it. I'm wondering what the laws are in Washington state. If they discover the problem they can report me or something? Thank you very much,
Well. I supposedly got it fixed yesterday. Took it into a dealership. Basically a hose had broken and oil had leaked out. They believed it was on the sensor and causing some sort of connection problem causing the fans to turn on and off randomly causing the flicker. I paid $350 to fix it and hoped for the best. I drove it home fine and drove to my Mom's fine. Tonight I drove to a party and the problem started again. Not as persistent. They warned me that more oil had dripped under the first sensor and if it had messed up what that was (can't remember name sorry) then it will be a very expensive fix.
