I've been wanting to get into the military for a while. Specifically as a rescue swimmer which evolved into Pararescue(AF special ops). I was told that i wouldn't be able to get in and wouldn't get a waiver for lasik. However I just got a waiver. My predicament now is that i am in the process of applying for Marine OCS. The reason being is that I am 29 and I'm at the cut off as far as age limits. Will this be a problem? I have not gone down to MEPS yet for either. Paperwork however has been filled out for both. Its all a matter if i pass the vision test at MEPS for pararescue. If i don't, I still want military but for Marine OCS.
are you allowed to apply to more than one military branch?
