are yoga and hiking a good mix of exercise?

is doing yoga 3 days a week and then hiking 3 other days out of the week a good mix of exercise? i want mix cardio and strength training but i am so tired of the elliptical and free weights and the gym obviously. i love yoga and have done it in the past and have been hiking a lot recently and would love to make yoga and hiking the plan. is it a good mix? will i get decent muscle tone from yoga without the free weights? how about burning calories will it even out? hmmmm... i don't want to change stuff up and then find out i made a mistake.
