and on their way, destroy all history as they come into eventual power? Setting back mankind again and again.

Where a people strive and discover, build and protect, only to have the disease start again where a faction rises, takes hold, erases history, claims the advances in technology and art for itself,and then destroys itself along with any hope of going forward, and as a footnote, leaves behind a disclaimer which levels the blame directly on those who built the society as being evil?
only this time, a little place called "america" wasn't having it.
 
A lot of progress was actually made in the last dark age, no to your question. In fact I believe we are on the verge of the greatest change in history. A change for the better.
 
Yes we are Dee. Very astute observation. How will it turn out? Who knows. Just be ready to fight because if the "Conservo-wackos" win prepare for the return of the concentration camp.
