Everybody hates Wall Street. When we use tax money to bail out or loan big corporations we demand that Execs get fired, the Government takes over, and the shareholders lose thier shirt.
It is understandable that we would feel this way and that we extract our 'Pound of Flesh' for the perceived greed of the people. Unfortunately we've created an atmosphere where companies are afraid of government intervention and are hording thier money to insure the Government doesn't get involved. So good companies and bad are at risk. No one will risk and investment in any company with the Government hanging over the head and all investment is grinding to a halt.
Do we need more Government intervention or less?
